We are a group of volunteers with a passion to help the less fortunate feline community. We help local areas with TNR for their colony cats or strays in their neighborhood. We also foster the kittens found outdoors. Getting them vetted, socialized, and adopted into loving homes. Along with the outreach assistance, we pride on educating individuals wanting to learn how they can help in their communities. This is all done solely on donations from those who support us and our efforts.

Wandering Whiskers Rescue wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the cause. Through educating and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part in raising awareness for the need to help the feral and neglected cats. Besides TNR, our greatest impact for change is our foster program.

Our Foster Program

How it works and Why it is important

Having our foster program incorporated into our TNR efforts is an efficient way of decreasing the feral cat population. Spay/Castration of the adults and helping the wee ones never know a life on the streets. They come into our homes, receive medical attention, socialization, an abundance of love, and only have to worry about how to be a kitten. When they become of age and weight they are vaccinated and neutered then placed up for adoption.

Adoptions

We care for our fosters as if they were our own, we often refer to them as our kids. When finding them homes, we do a thorough screening process on every application as well as a meet and greet to ensure it will be a good fit. All adoption fees are a donation back to our rescue for the cost of their vetting since we are non profit and volunteer.
